Program in Development: Returning the Circle to Elderhood
A human life moves in cycles, not lines. Every beginning carries an ending, and every ending returns something to the whole. As we enter elderhood, our attention gradually shifts to the continuation of love. There is a narrowing in, and movement from becoming to completing. The questions become less about what comes next and more about how we wish to live the time that remains.
These sessions use the I Ching and offer space to reflect on a life, tend what remains unfinished, and prepare for the conversations and decisions that matter most. Together we may explore relationships, forgiveness, gratitude, legacy, future care, as well as the practical and emotional work of preparing those we love for life without us.
My approach draws from my lived experience, my mentors, Bridging Transitions: https://bridgingtransitions.net/, ecopsychology, the I Ching, and contemplative practice. These disciplines help us listen more carefully, clarify what is asking for our attention, and meet this season of life with honesty, dignity, and an open heart.
